“Welcome to the Meadowglen Primary School website. Meadowglen is a vibrant school that promotes high standards in all aspects of school life. Our values are important to us as they are the cornerstone of everything we do.

Our academic standards in English and Mathematics are generally high with many groups of students performing well above the state average. This is due to our passionate, dedicated and hardworking staff who articulate high expectations and always put the needs of students first.

We also offer a range of programs that develop the whole child- physical education, art, science and music with associated extra-curricular activities such as a whole school concert, dance lessons, Meadowglen Idol, rock band, interschool sport, bike ed and more. eachers and students enthusiastically integrate interactive whiteboards, desktop and notebook computers, ipads, data projectors and cameras into their learning to enhance experiences (like film making and digital portfolios) that not only stimulate children’s creativity, but also increase the level of engagement.

I am proud to be the principal of this wonderful school. If you have a child starting prep, I’ll take you into the prep classrooms so you can experience the nurturing and stimulating atmosphere that is at the heart of every classroom, where students are grouped at instructional levels for literacy to facilitate high levels of achievement. Or if it’s year 5 you’re interested in, you’ll get to see quality teaching before your eyes, where every student in the 5 and 6 teaching unit is treated as an individual, engaged and encouraged to strive beyond their current academic level.
